Description
Two areas of risk in post-acute care are managing Arbitration Agreements and Medical Record Requests. This program was developed to assist attendees in identifying ways to improve their internal processes.
Learner Objectives:
- Define the basic elements of an arbitration agreement.
- Identify the federal regulations that may impact arbitration agreements.
- Identify CMS's authority to enforce arbitration agreements.
- Define the process for managing medical record requests.
- Identify who has legal authority to request medical records.
