Presentation will provide an understanding of steps that can be taken to mitigate/reduce liability risk and improve outcomes of residents in assisted living.
Learner Objectives:
- Identify the top three areas of liability risk in assisted living.
- State three steps that can be taken to reduce liability risk in assisted living.
- Evaluate their own policies, procedures and practices for liability risk based on knowledge gained in session.
- Discuss trends and the role of various staff in assisted living to reduce liability risk.
Nurse Learner Outcome: At the conclusion of this educational activity participants will self-report on the post session evaluation, a knowledge gain of steps that can be taken to mitigate/reduce liability risk and improve outcomes of residents in assisted living.
