Have you had your Performance Improvement Plan rejected by the surveyors when you asked for Past Non-compliance? Are surveyors delving deeper into QAPI when they find a potential deficient practice? In this session the participants will learn a new perspective on QAPI - it is not a monthly meeting with multiple reports of data. It is how we do business every day to address not only adverse outcomes for residents but proactively looking at systems to improve residents' outcomes and support our employees. This leads to past non-compliance.
Nurse Learner Outcome: 80% of the participants will self-report a knowledge gain in identifying gaps in the systems and how to address these to bring about improvement in resident outcomes.
