Matthew L. Stentz is an Assistant Special Agent in Charge with HSI in Michigan and oversees U.S. and Canadian law enforcement officers investigating narcotics trafficking, financial crimes, gang activities, and weapons trafficking. Prior to this position, Mr. Stentz served as the HSI Country Attaché in Canada where he had oversight over all agency operations in the country. Mr. Stentz also served in positions in Washington, DC, Seattle, Washington and San Ysidro, California. During his career, Mr. Stentz has investigated narcotics trafficking, money laundering, bank fraud, cybercrimes, fraud, and terrorist financing. Mr. Stentz is an honors graduate of Michigan State University.
