Dave Donahue is the Director of the Long-Term Care Division within the Bureau of Survey and Certification and oversees the federal survey and certification process for long-term care facilities in the state of Michigan. Before this position, Dave served as the Surveyor Manager for the Detroit Central Team. Dave has been with LARA for over 12 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University. Prior to becoming a nurse, Dave spent 14 years active duty in the United States Air Force and 7 years in the Air Force Reserves, before retiring.
