Heather is the manager of the Section at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) that oversees the MI Choice Waiver program, Community Transition Services, and Brain Injury Services. I have been the manager since August 2024. Prior to August, I worked as a Specialist with the MI Choice program since January of 2018. I have managed the MI Choice contracts with the entities (waiver agencies) contracted with MDHHS for implementation of the MI Choice program. I have been deeply involved in policy, rules, and regulations that apply to MI Choice, and regularly work with the waiver agencies to assist with various needs. Prior to my work with the MI Choice program, I worked on the MI Health Link program and various other jobs.
