Dr. Jan Karazim is a Workforce Program Manager for the Workforce Intelligence Network facilitating the employer-led collaborative known as the Health Careers Alliance. However, Jan is a retired academic dean of Workforce Development including the Health Science divisions at 3 Michigan community colleges. Jan has facilitated several employer-led collaboratives, partnered with k12 school districts, universities, economic development, government, funders, and non-profits to create and execute innovative workforce solutions to address employer needs across several industries. Before becoming dean, Jan was a tenured faculty member for 10 years, and before that, she worked as a registered radiographer for 14 years. She has degrees in Radiography, Health Care Management, Organizational Development, and a doctorate in Community College Leadership.
