At first glance, regulatory changes can seem overly burdensome and sometimes unnecessary. Looking beneath the surface of these changes, we will examine the role national trends, stakeholder feedback, and the changing needs for those requiring skilled nursing services has on long term care providers and residents, and actions both providers and State Survey Agencies can take to ensure we are working towards a common goal.

Nurse Learner Outcome: At the end of this presentation, 80% of participants will report a knowledge gain of regulatory changes that impact nursing home compliance and national trends impacting both State Survey Agencies and providers.
