I know that in my career that I have seen victims of human trafficking. When I was a forensic nurse, a FBI agent spoke to us about Human Trafficking. I thought it was unusual for the FBI to tell nursing how to examine a patient that was trafficked. Curiosity lead me to be the first health care provider on the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force lead by my mentor Jane White.
