My nursing career spans 48 years and during this time I have performed everything from "bedpans to business plans". My work has always focused on Seniors, beginning as a nurse on the ortho unit taking care of many fractured hips and joint replacements. I've worked in skilled nursing for the past 30 years with an emphasis on Quality Improvement and helping our centers understand the QAPI process, the importance of Root Cause Analysis and how to use QAPI to improve the care we provide and most importantly, improve the lives of our seniors.
