As we learn more about Antibiotic resistance it becomes more imperative that our facilities have implemented serious Antibiotic Stewardship (AS) plans and processes. Dose reduction for psychotropic medications is not a well researched area and requires understanding classes of medication, residual behaviors, behavioral triggers, and the impact of dose reduction even when the medication is not treating a symptom effectively will improve the dose reduction process.
